Abstract
Corruption is the cancer of power. Deng Xiaoping stressed that we should resist bureaucracy, overcome the phenomenon of special power, prevent the spread of corruption within the Party and the state power organs and solve the ideological matter as well as system matter which has fundamental, overall, stable and long-term quality. Resistance (against) corruption by means of system is the important part of Deng Xiaoping's legal ideas as well as the basis for his ideas of governing the country by law. Guided by Deng Xiaoping, our country is gradually transforming from the resistance against corruption by power to the resistance against corruption by system in the overall process of the resistance against corruption, thus stepping forward greatly in the promotion of governing of the country by law and the building of the socialist political civilization.
