Abstract
The Yaguila Pb-Zn polymetallic deposit is the largest stratform sedimentary-hosted Pb-Zn multi-metal ore deposit. The deposit is located in a distinctive geotectonic setting, which is very favourable for mineralization in Yaguila. In the light of the geolocal setting including mineral-bearing formation,fault-structure and magmatic activity and their correlation to ore-forming,the nature of orebody, ore texture and the alteration of host rocks indicate that the formation of the Yaguila Pb-Zn polymetallic deposit constists of two stages: late Paleozoic submarine hydrothermal exhalative-sedimentary ore and Himalayan magmatic-derived hydrothermal fluid overprinted the sedimentary exhalative ore.Consequently, the Yaguila deposit is a typical submarine sedimentary exhalative-derived magmatic hydrothermal superimposion and reformaion Pb-Zn polymetallic ore deposit.
