Abstract
With the research on fully-mechanized sublevel caving technology for the structural complex thick coal seam containing dirt band in the fully-mechanized sublevel caving face, large amount of measurements were taken out in situ around how to decide the fully-mechanized sublevel caving technology and its major parameters. The method of technology coordination and the selection of its promoters were also optimized. The results show that sublevel coal under the complicated structure conditions does not have relation with the coal caving parameters, sublevel coal and direct roof falling features, but the coal caving is radical influenced by the rock properties and thickness of the dirt band.Proposed that the sublevel caving with two passing cutting and one caving would improve the coal recovery ratio and reduce the ash content of the raw coal.
