classical has a long history and shows profound spirits. However, centennial aesthetics born in the 20th century was influenced directly by western system. As a knowledge background and an academic resource, western has important meaning in establishing the 20th century's aesthetics. But there are many differences between China and the west in the background of culture and the way of feeling beauty. will lose its unique attraction if we always mimic rigidly western logic and system without distinguishing. Therefore, establishing a Chinese aesthetics with characteristics should be based on academic tradition, cultural spirits,and aesthetic ideal.And the use of western academic theory should be selective.
