Sustainable Development and All-round Development of Human Beings

As a new development idea,which has already been received worldwide,sustainable development has a deep link with the all-round development of human beings.Sustainable development has been a result of reflection on western culture in the recent one and a half centuries,especially reflection on environment and development in the recent half century,and the establishing process of sustainable development had gradually put the all-round development of human beings into a kernel status.Even the concept of sustainable development fully embodies some rich ideas for all-round development of human beings,stressing to satisfy all-round needs of human beings,to carry out social justice, to improve self-reliance,and to reach equilibrium between human beings and biosphere.The stress of all-round development of human beings in the sustainable development,however,is not to strengthen the traditional anthropocentrism,but to set up a new kind of anthropocentrism,which tries to realize a both-winning, fully performing all-round development of human beings meanwhile being based on the ceremony between human beings and the natural world.
