Abstract
With the data collected from Jiangsu Province from 1985 to 2005,the paper analyzes the regional income mobility of rural residents using mobility matrix and income mobility index from the three perspectives.Main conclusions are the income regional mobility of rural residents of Jiangsu Province is diminishing: the larger the region,the smaller the mobility and the mobility in the more populated regions is slower than that in the less populated regions.
