Abstract
The height and of 2471 children of Wuhu City at the age of 2 to 6 were studied.The result showed that except the height of the children below 3 years old,the height and of the other children were all significantly higher than the corresponding age value from WHO(P0.01).The weight for age(WAZ)、height for age(HAZ)and for height(WHZ) indexes were assessed with Z score method,and the result showed that the abnormal ratio in the WAZ,HAZ and WHZ index was 7.08%,8.54% and 5.02%,respectively.In the 2471 children,the poorly nourished children were about 1.01%,while the fat children were about 4.69%.
