The treatment of intravitreous injection with triameinolone acetonide for Coats'disease with exudative retinal detachment

Objective To observe the treatment of intravitreous injection with triameinolone acetonide for Coats' disease with Exudative retinal detachment.Methods Coats'disease with external exudative retinopathy patients decided by checking the eyeground of 12 cases(12 eyes),carrying out fundus fluorescence angiography(FFA)and B ultrasound check accept the treatment of injecting 40mg/1ml TA0.1ml into the vitreous body.Tracing down the treatment result of these patients 10.2 months for each one in average,and compare the eyes before the treatment with those after the treatment in the situations of sight,eye pressure,the restoration of retina.Results The retina of ten out of those twelve ill eyes have restored,which are 83.3%.after tracing down for 3 months,the retina of two ill eyes had not restored completely,so these two eyes accepted the injection of TA into the vitreous body again;after the operation,the sight of those ill eyes enhanced in different margins;after 1 week to 2 months after the operation,the eye pressure of two eyes goes up.After partial β-receiver retarder control,they became normal;The catarael developed in 1 eye.Conclusion Intravitreous injection with triameinolone acetonide for Coats'disease with exudative retinal detachment is one effective method.
