Abstract
It is known that parametric array loudspeakers could produce very highly directional sound beam. Supposing that parametric array loudspeakers are used as the secondary source of active noise control(ANC) in ducts, the acoustic feedback can be reduced and algorithms will be simplified. In order to confirm the feasibility, simulations and experiments are conducted in ducts. Results show that parametric array loudspeakers have the same propagation characteristics with loudspeaker and can be used for active noise control. Furthermore, parametric array loudspeakers have weak acoustic feedback.
