Abstract
Objective To establish a kind of models of acute lung injury(ALI) induced by paraquat.Methods 20 Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 2 groups,including test(n=10) group and normal(n=10) group.Paraquat(80 mg/kg) was administered to the animals in test group only once by oral and the animals were killed on day 1 after administration.The indexes of test included:pathological alteration,arterial,partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2) and the protein in Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF).Results PaO2 changed significantly at 1d after paraquat infusion.Significant anomaly was observed in bronchoalveolar lavage liquid analysis and lung pathomorphology.Conclusion An acute lung injury model of rats can be successfully established only once by oral of 80 mg/kg paraquat.
