Abstract
Based on dipole shear wave logging data,it gives out Poisson's ratio, the coefficient of Compressibility and equivalent ratio of the difference of the elastic modulus,as indicators to identification gas in low porosity and low permeability reservoirs.we also obtain reservoir parameters such as the porosity using compressional velocity and shear velocity, and they are applied to geology in low porosity and low permeability reservoirs, with satisfactory results.
