Abstract
The mechanism of nonuniform settlement of largescale building with collapsible loess ground was deeply analyzed and its treatment strategy was presented in this paper. The chemical churning pile, as a suitable method, was used to deal with such ground accident. The authors analyzed the cause of formation of nonuniform ground settlement, discussed the factors of foundation design and construction control. Practice shows that the chemical churning pile is an effective way to deal with similar ground settlement accident caused by multifactor.
