Abstract

Using the Li-6400 portable photosynthesis system, the diurnal variation of photosynthesis.,light and CO2 response of Prunus zippeliana were studied under natural condition. The results showed as following: ①The diurnal variation of net photosynthetic rate(Pn) revealed a one-peak curve, the peak value appeared at 10 : 00,and the main affecting factors were transpiration rate, stomatal conductance and photosynthetically active radiation, and so on.②The light saturation point(LSP),the light compensation point(LCP) and the apparent quantum efficiency were 1 407 μmol/(m2 ·s),35 μmol/(m2·s) and 0.039 4,respectively.③The CO2 compensation point, the CO2 saturation point and the carboxylation efficiency were 129 μmol/mol,2 714 μmol/mol and 0.021,respectively.This indicated that Prunus zippeliana was the typical C3 plant, which had limited ability to use the low concentration of CO2.
