Northern Economy in the Periods of Jin and Yuan Dynasties

In the periods of Jin and Yuan, the northern region recovered its economy quickly after wars. Most areas, especially the eastern parts, had fine economic condition. Grains, mulberry, flax, textile, metallurgy, coal, commerce devel oped further, and official-run craft industry and husbandry became more advantageous. The northern economy in Jin and Yuan periods did not decline with the southward movement of economic center.
