Abstract
The application background and principal theory of flexible transponder technology are introduced.The basic process and theory of Wideband Global Satellite(WGS) flexible transponder are analyzed.The paper summarizes the key technologies in transponder realization,which provides essential theoretical bases and technical support for solving the high-capacity and multi-beam connection of satellite mobile communication.At the same time,compared with the traditional transponder,the flexible transponder has the advantages of high power efficiency and high agility,which can achieve satellite signals and resources flexibly exchange.
