Lu Xun and Xiaxie Novels of the Qing Dynasty

Lu Xun has researched and evaluated artistic origins,development stages,contents and artistic characteristics of of the Qing Dynasty in A Brief History of the Chinese Novels through historical evidence and textual analysis.Many views still benefit his future generations.But we need to notice that Lu Xun's concept of Xiaxie also has limitations.Some of his discussions couldn't make people satisfied,such as the first work and the cause of Xiaxie norvels,the reason for change,and the use of dialect.
