Abstract
Investigating the experiment of new rural cooperative care in Yulong county, the paper analyzed management of funds and construction of system from the supply, and pilot-estimated the funds needed. Basing on the experience and the lessons of former experiment of rural cooperative care, the results showed that new rural cooperative care was more sustainable than the former from the supply. The predominance of new rural cooperative care included powerful public support, reliable official promises and effective funds management. However, some factors, includes management cost, medical price and local finance, played down the sustainability of new rural cooperative care.
