On FDI structure optimization in Liaoning Province from perspective of labor standards

The scale of foreign direct investment(FDI) in Liaoning Province has been increasingly expanding.The large scale of FDI has not only intensified the pressure of macro economy,but also put great stress on the supply of limited resources and energies day by day.It is high time that the structure of FDI be adjusted.Because different-level FDI has different social and environmental requirements,it is possible to induce FDI to industries that conform to the industrial policy through the adjustment of labour standards,which has practical significance to guide the direction of FDI flow in Liaoning.This article reviews the achievements of absorbing FDI in recent years,and points out the industrial selection of FDI in Liaoning Province.Then it reveals the relationship between the situation of FDI and labour standards by analyzing the influences of the improvement of labour standards on the cost of foreign enterprises.The structure of FDI may be well arranged from the adjustment of labour standards,and corresponding countermeasures are proposed.
