Abstract

Based on the studies of fractal, the author proposed and discussed some problems that happened in the application of fractal theory of materials fracture. They involved: methods of determining fractal dimension, physical intention of fractal dimension in materials fracture and the relationship between fractal dimension and roughness of fractural surface.
