Abstract
This paper probes into the status quo of college students' social practice.It holds that there are some problems in this area.First,social practice is superficial and some students simply are not involved in any practice at all.Second,working units involved in social practice do not have a correct understanding of this activity.Third,the forms of social practice are not colorful or attractive enough.Finally,the evaluating methods need to be improved.It proceeds to put forward some suggestions to build the long-term working mechanism for the social practice of college students,including those on ideological education,managing rules,teachers' participation,innovative education,internship centers and employment after graduation.
