Abstract
As a novel and artificial photonic material,photonic crystal possesses unique photonic band gap properties and can manipulate the propagation states of photons.Photonic crystal is important basis for the integrated photonic devices,such as all-optical switching.In this paper we have designed a two-dimensional photonic cystal with a triangle lattice of elliptic cylinders in the KAs backgroud material.Through investigating this photonic crystal's structure,we found 0.0503 ω_e((ω_e=2πc/a)) PBG in the high region of normalized frequency.
