Abstract

In this paper,the process of producing closed-cell foam aluminum by use of molten aluminum foaming method is discussed.By controlling the melting temperature,stirring speed,stirring time,heat holding and the way of adding viscosity agent and foaming agent,specimens with 40%~70% porosity and fairly uniform pore diameter are produced.Further,the effect of processing parameters on foaming preparation is analyzed.
