Abstract
Wireless networks have been applied into the modern enterprise, it has become an important technology for the flexible expansion of traditional cable network. Wireless networks can achieve the functions of wireless data, wireless voice, wireless video surveillance, and other business integration. It’s easy to use and make, and the costs of maintenance and operating after the network are much lower than the cable network. In this paper, on the basis of the Wireless Local Area Network, I introduce a design of Wireless Metropolitan Area Network, and I make a detailed description of its hardware and software environment, the situation of wireless monitor (including performance testing), functions after the completion of the network as well as the prospects for development.
