Abstract

OBJECTIVE To study the combined effects of 4-HPR and MG-132 induced apoptosis in lung cancer A549 cells.METHODS The cellular morphology and inhibition growth efficacy on A549 cell was assessed by inverted microscope and TUNEL,and the expression of NF-κB was examined by Western blot.RESULTS The MTT analysis indicated MG-132 could obviously enhanced 4-HPR-induced apoptotic cell death in A549 cells, subsequent observations using Western blot indicated that MG-132 effectively inhibits NF-κB activation during 4-HPR-induced apoptosis.CONCLUSION MG-132 can enhance 4-HPR-induced A549 cells apoptosis via inhibition of NF-κB activiation.
