Abstract
Seismic anisotropy in the crust is mainly originated from crack-induced anisotropy.Shear-wave will split when it travels through anisotropic media. The polarizations and time-delays of shear-wave splitting are related to the geometrical and physical characteristics of the crustal media.Shear-wave splitting could be adopted to study the stress field in the crust and its dynamic variation.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
