Abstract

The composite dielectrics mainly composed of PTFE,ceramics and glassfibers are prepared by hot pressing.Dielectric constant of the composites decreases with amount of PTFE and glassfibers increasing. For PTFE/ceramics composites, the elastic modulus increases at first and then decreases with the amount of ceramics increasing from 40% to 65%.The addition of glassfibers in PTFE/ceramics can increase elastic modulus. And for composite dielectrics containing 40% PTFE,the amount of glassfibers should be less than 15%.The composites microstructures are very dense
