Application of active server page(ASP) technology to opening database

Abstract

The principles of active server page (ASP)technology is introduced. The properties of ASP technology in publishing database are compared with those of ASP,CGI,ISAPI,IDC. Taking publishing production data of oil product factory as an example, the method of publishing database by ASP is discussed. It is proved that ASP is a new technology for developing dynamic Web page. It can create operation programs running at server and also open database independent of navigator. It has the properties of simple development,high efficiency and convenient operation.
