Abstract

An analysis was made on the snow disaster in January,2008 in Yulin City. The results show that this continuous snow disaster affected vast areas,and the secondary disaster of low temperature and freeze brought about above 100 millions RMB worth of damage to the transportation system,people's property and life,and installation agriculture,and the cause of the disaster had something to do with LaNi?a and abnormal atmospheric circulation. The author suggests that government should bring how to deal with climate change into its national economic and social development plan.
