Public transportation planning for Daqing

Abstract
The present status of the public transportation network in Daqing and its operating quality is analyzed by statistics.And the analysis above reveals several prominent problems resulting from the operation of the public transportation.From the analysis above and according to the guidance lines es-tablished for urbanization of Daqing as well as the urban transportation system plan,a scientific urban public transportation plan is given to this new and developing industrial city.It covers such subjects as traffic demand forecast,public transportation hub plan,optimization of public transportation network public transportation facilities layout,and construction schedules.
