Sustainable development of Chinese agriculture after China's entry into WTO

China's entry into WTO will inevitably influence present agricultural management system,agricultural products market and agricultural production structure.In addition,the sustainable development of Chinese agriculture faces an unprecedentedly unfavourable situation because of its being restricted by factors such as the deterioration of ecological environment,a large population,the undeveloped rural market economy,the backward urbanization,the inadequate investment in agriculture,etc.Therefore,we must take active measures:strengthening legislation,controlling the growth of population,speeding up the research and popularization of agricultural science and technology,readjusting the agriculture industry structure,quicking the tempo of the construction of rural market system and carrying forward urbanization.
