Abstract

To baserve the clinical effect of GankangⅡon treating liver fibrosis caused by chronic hepatitis B. Seventy six patients with chronic hepatitis B were randomly divided into two groups. Forty patients in treatment were treated with GankangⅡ. While thirty six patients in control group were treated with Fufangdanshendiwan. The course of both treatment was 3 months. Before and after treatment, changes of liver function, serum liver fibrosis indexes and liver pathology were observed. The results showed the liver function and serum liver fibrosis indexes in treatment group were improved significantly after treating, and it was better than those in control group (P 0. 01 or P 0. 05). Pathological examination of liver biopsy showed that inflammatory activity alleviated and the degree of liver fibrosis reduced significantly. GankangⅡhas a definite effect of anti - liver fibrosis.
