Research Progress and Prospect of Computerized Adaptive Testing

Abstract

In recent years,computerized adaptive testing is becoming the focus of the field of modern educational evaluation. In this form of the test,the response relationship between the examinee with the item by IRT modeling,then use the computer to estimates the ability level of the examinees and real-time select item. Computerized adaptive test development process were reviewed in the paper,and discuss the latest research results and pointed out that the current problems and future trends.
