Abstract

In metal cutting process,it is required to keep a suitable metal removal rate, ensure the machining quality and reduce the wear of cutting tools as much as possible. Cutting force is an important factor which influents processing quality and cutting tool life, hence we carried on an orthogonal experiment to analysis the effects of cutting parameters on cutting force in milling 17-4PH blade steel, offering a foundation to reasonably select cutting parameters.
