Abstract
Through the experiments conducted in Dongfeng and Xi'an,the results showed that the treatment with the basal fertilizer: tillering fertilizer: panicle fertilizer being 2:5:3 in two locations could gain high effective panicle rate and the dry matter accumulated amounts from heading to maturity reached 708.9 and 743.4 kg/667 m2,and the grain yields were 759.7 and 805.9 kg/667 m2.The moderate increase of basal and tillering N was helpful to increase tillering rate, but excessive application of basal and tillering N would lead to occurrence of ineffective tillers and decrease of effective leaf area rate.It was beneficial to increase high-efficiency leaf area rate and effective leaf area rate to increase panicle bearing N moderately.
