Abstract

The fine structure and micro appearance of the low bainite obtained by short isothermal time at 200 ℃ in Fe-0.88C-1.35Si-1.03Cr-0.43Mn steel had been examined by optical microscope and transmission electron microscope. The results show that the test steel obtained lath low bainite with the nanometers in width and the micron in length by short isothermal time at 200 ℃.Parallel dislocation arrays perpendicular to the side boundary of the bainite perpendicular to the side boundary of the bainite lath were formed along the longitudinal direction of the bainite lath, and discontinuous and lamellar strain field contrasts existed in the parent phase of the bainitic longitudinal frontier, the low bainite transformation showed martensitic shear characteristics.
