Abstract
A kind of control method based on insulated gate bipolar transistor-pulse width modulation (IGBT-PWM),which meets the special need of SG 8630 precision leading screw lathe,was introduced.With IGBT-PWM,the stepless variable speed control was realized for the direct current motor with low speed and single-phase in the control system of the machine tool.The satisfactory result is obtained in the practice.
