Abstract

The applications of enzymes during soaking,unhairing,liming,degreasing,bating,and pasting on butt area of pig skin were summarized.The properties,the functions and mechanisms of some typical enzyme products were introduced.A new enzyme used in neutralization to increase area,Novocor AX,was introduced.The expanding tendency of the application of enzymes during leather making was also looked ahead.
