Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of the prescription of Yiqi Yangyin Huoxue Huayu on the rat model of viral dilated cardiomyopathy by observing the expression of ICAM-1 in cardiac muscle. Methods:Replicated the animal models of the viral dilated cardiomyopathy with the method of injecting the CVB3m virus to the peritoneal cavity of the Balb/c rats. 210 Balb/c rats were devided into 4 groups at random,ie: blank group,model group, low dose traditional Chinese medicine group and high dose traditional Chinese medicine group. The blank group has 30 rats.The other three group has 60 rats each.Treat the rats of low dose traditional Chinese medicine group and high dose traditional Chinese medicine group with the prescription of Yiqi Yangyin Huoxue Huayu. Observe the change of pathomorphology in the cardiac muscle tissue, the rate of death ,the weight change and the cardiac weight index in the end of the experiment. At the same time SABC method was used to exam the expression of ICAM-1 in cardiac muscle. Results:Compaired with the model group the expression of ICAM-1 in cardiac muscle were significantly lower and the change of pathomorphology in the cardiac muscle tissue were lighter in the low dose traditional Chinese medicine group and high dose traditional Chinese medicine group. Conclusion:The prescription of Yiqi Yangyin Huoxue Huayu can reduce the the expression of ICAM-1 in cardiac muscle and relieve the damage of inflammatory reaction and autoimmunity in DCM.
