Abstract

Objective To study the surgical treatment of psendoaneurysm of femoral artery caused by addictive drugs injection.Metheds The clinical data of 34 cases with femoral pseudoaneurysm were analyzed retrospectively. Results The external ilio-superficial femoral artery anastomosis(end to side)was performed by artificial vessel in 13 cases.Auto-transplantation of great saphenous vein in situ was performed in 3 cases.Among them,1 case was changed to perform external ilio-superficial femoral artery anastomosis, because of bleeding of anastomotic rupture after operation.Femoral artery ligation was performed in 18 cases. The limbs were preserved successfully in all cases. The total grafting vessels were fluenty confirmed by Doppler ultrasound after operation.Conclusvions When the saphenous vein autotransplantation and artificial vascular grafting are not suitable for the patient, the femoral artery ligation is still an effective procedure for treating the pseudoaneurysm of femoral artery.
