Abstract

Using split steps of finite element method, various boundaries in two-dimensional numerical model of the tidal current in Meizhou Bay were constructed. The tidal current in different times and the eulerian residual current were calculated. The distribution of maximumtidal current speed, cotidal line,iso-amplitude curves and distribution of tidal current ellipses are also given in this paper.
