Research on Difference between Suspended Solids Concentration and Total Solids Concentration in Mixed Liquor in Aeration Tank

In activated sludge process system,the mixed qiquor volatile suspended solid(MLVSS) in the aeration tank is a very important index to indicate the amount of activated sludge.However,in practical determination,the total solids in the mixed liquor are usually regarded as suspended solids,and the volatile total solids are usually regarded as volatile suspended solids concentration in the mixed liquor by test.In order to control process effectively,the organic part of the filter residue in the mixed liquor must be determined accurately.
