Abstract
Field experiments were conducted to study on the potassium nutritional state of different tobacco varieties for 3 years. The results showed that potassium concentration in tobacco leaves were significantly different among the varieties with the same K (supply). Under various K (supply), amount of dissimilarity of potassium concentration were reduced among the varieties with the (increasing) of potash fertilizer applied. And tobacco plant can not grow normally without enough K supply. The results of (correlation) analysis showed that there are significantly positive correlation between the normally supply of potassium in soils and the low supply or the sup-supply of potassium, there are not significantly positive correlation between the normal supply and without supply. According to the results above, 1.45% and 1.90% of potassium concentration in the low supply of potassium in soils can be used as the criteria for selecting and identifying rich and high K-concentration varieties of tobacco. Rich potassium genotypes of (tobacco) TW90, corker319, corker176, Repanda, restic and Malilan etc. were selected。
