Abstract

OBJECTIVE To explore the clinical effect and value of nimodipine in the treatment of cerebral vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage.METHODS Retrospective analysis was conducted for the data of 56 cases with cerebral vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage.According to the principle of randomized and control rule, patients were divided into the observation group(28cases)and the control group(28cases).Control group were treated with dehydration, increased intracranial pressure, control blood pressure, bleeding, analgesic and other conventional treatment.Treatment group were treated with nimodipine and the same treatment of control's.The treatment lasted 15 days. After the end of treatment,we observed the therapeutic effect of the clinical effect of two groups, and we compared the blood pressure before and after treatment.RESULTS The total effective rate of observation group was 100%,and the control group was 78.57%.The difference was statistically significant. Two groups of patients before surgery systolic and diastolic blood pressure showed no statistically significant(P﹥0.05).After the operation in two patients with systolic and diastolic blood pressure decreased, there was significant difference(P﹤0.05).But the observation group decreased significantly.Compared with the control group, there was significant difference(P﹤0.05).CONCLUSION The effect of application nimodipine treatment cerebral vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage was better. It maybe effectively reduce and control the patient's blood pressure, improve the condition and prognosis, and improve the quality of life of the patients. It could be further applicated in clinical.
