Abstract

The six kinds of composite explosives are formed by adding difference content of Al and AP based RDX as major explosive, and the underwater explosion experiment is done by these composite explosives. The influence of Al and AP on the underwater explosion parameters of composite explosives was analyzed from shock wave parameters and bubble parameters. The results show that when the major explosive content is fixed, the shock wave peak pressure, time constant, impulse and energy flux density all decrease with the Al/AP mole ratio increase, while the bubble period, bubble energy and the maximum bubble radius increase firstly, when Al/AP mole ratio is 3.8,these values achieve maximum, then decrease with Al/AP mole ratio increase.
