Abstract
Contact glow discharge electrolysis of nitrobenzene in the sodium sulfate solution was investigated in various conditions, such as initial concentrations, pH, and voltages. The results have shown that concentration and voltage play an important role, and pH value has no appreciable effect on the degradation of nitrobenzene, whlie Fe\+\{2+\} has a remarkable catalytic effect. Some intermediate products were analyzed by a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
