A Study on Remanufacturing of Automobile Components Based on Extended Producer Responsibility

Abstract

Automobile manufacturing industry is a priority industry in promoting circular economy in China.Automobile component remanufacturing aims at reducing the environmental impact of automobiles from both ends,which requires manufacturers to take up the extended environmental responsibilities.This paper starts with the conception of component remanufacturing,then reveals the advantages and implementing methods of automobile component remanufacturing from the perspective of extended producer responsibility(abbreviated as EPR).The focus is on its implementing conditions based on two EPR features:feedback to product design and process integration.The paper finally puts forward policy suggestions for the effective promotion of automobile component remanufacturing in China.
