Abstract
Strong-acid cation exchange resin Amberlyst-15 used as catalyst, glycerol triacetate was synthesized from acetic anhydride and glycerol. The reaction conditions of the reaction were investigated. And the optimum conditions of molar ratio of glycerol to acetic anhydride, esterification time and reaction temperature is 1∶3,4 h and 60 ℃,respectively. The results show that the yield is 84.2%.The catalysts can be recycled and reused while the catalytic activity is not reduced obviously.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
