Abstract

Cellulose ethanol has become a priority of research with a bright future.It may become one of the most important renewable energy sources in the future.Cellulose ethanol research development is reviewed,and the development history and the latest worldwide progress of cellulose ethanol research development are summarized.The difficulties and problems in current cellulose ethanol commercialization are analyzed.The directions of research development are presented.
