Abstract
The synthesis of ethyl acetate with acetaldehyde extracted from industrial waste liquid via Tishchenko reaction was studied. The concentration of acetaldehyde was up to 96.2%.The influence factors such as acetaldehyde concentration, mass ratio of aluminium ethylate to acetaldehyde, reaction temperature, and reaction time were investigated, and a good reaction condition was found as followed: mass ratio of aluminium ethylate to acetaldehyde 1:10;reaction temperature 30℃;and reaction time 3h.The conversion of acetaldehyde and the reaction selectivity were up to 91.2% and 86.6%,respectively.The waste aluminium was tried to prepare aluminium ethylate which was applied as catalyst to reduce cost.
