China's hydropower resources and considerations for planning of major super-hydropower stations

Through analysis of the status of development of hydropower resources in China,the challenges and difficulties faced in the hydropower development are summarized.Under the guidance of hydropower development principles and goals set by the long and mid-term energy development plan of China,and combining with the development status of the thirteen huge hydropower bases,the situation for future hydropower development in China is analyzed and the basic characters of the super-hydropower stations completed,under construction or in planning are summed up.
